HISTORY
QD Exhaust was incorporated as Quat-D, a craft business specializing in the construction of exhaust systems for motorcycles with 4-stroke engines. The business really took off after we gained a high degree of experience in the world of racing. In 2001, we decided to give our company a more definite industrial character, without sacrificing quality and the search for handcrafted “details”. So, we founded Quat-D Srl.
The company has invested in more than production and equipment; we have a laboratory where we test new materials and solutions in an eternal search for better quality and performance.
QD EXHAUST TODAY
Today, QD Exhaust is an industrial company with a 1,300-m² operations building with administrative and design offices and a warehouse with enough stock to satisfy requests from the market within 24-48 hours.
High production standards are guaranteed by an integrated quality-control process; in fact, the company is certified conforming to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard by TUV.
The materials are machined on state-of-the-art equipment and all fastening elements are laser-cut AISI 304 stainless steel while all welds are TIG.
QD's testing department is integrated with its fluid-dynamic design department; all systems are dimensioned and calculated using sophisticated software that meets the need to offer the market the maximum phonometric yield and performance.
